Wire Innovations

Take control of your process today!

Wire Innovations Sweden AB

We offer custom process monitoring solutions for your wire drawing process. Our solutions monitor your process and can alert you if any problems are found.

Data from the monitoring systems can be easily accessed through any device with a web browser. The data can be stored and reviewed to provide information about the state of the processes over time. Our solutions can be designed to fit any* current or future wire drawing machine through the use of versatile manufacturing techniques.

WiSE - Wire Surveillance Equipment

The WiSE monitoring system can be installed on single tools or through your entire process. The system monitors your process and alerts operators to discrepancies in process critical parameters.

The system can be setup to provide information locally, or globally if the customer so desire. Allowing for ease of monitoring even if machines are left unsupervised.

By storing and correlating the data from several sensors it is possible to learn when the processes run smoothly. WiSE offers ease of access to both monitoring data and runtime logs.

The WiSE sensor monitors the wire surface in-line with three CCD sensors, covering the entire wire surface. The sensor calibrates itself upon every start of a production run but can also be given set thresholds to follow. The system has a self cleaning feature to ensure that minimal maintenance is required.
On top of monitoring the wire surface the sensor also measures vibrations.
Research studies have shown that both the wire surface conditions and the vibrations of the drawing die can be directly linked to the condition of the process.

WiSE installed in industry

WiSE installed in industry. The small footprint of the sensor allows for installation in many of the existing wire drawing machines. Upon request we will help you design and fabricate adapter plates to make WiSE fit your machines perfectly.

WiSE datasheet and general information

A datasheet for the WiSE system can be downloaded here: WiSE DataSheet.

Usage of WiSE was presented at interwire 2023, Atlanta. Please read the paper here: INTERWIRE-2023

What can WiSE do for your process?

Sustainability

One of many benefits of WiSE is that the amount of scrap material can be reduced which helps your company to achieve an increased sustainability.
